Disputing a Ticket

Was your ticket issued on or after February 21, 2011

YES: The City has moved to a new dispute resolution process that is quicker, more efficient and customer focused. How to dispute a ticket issued on or after February 21, 2011

NO: To dispute a ticket issued before February 21, 2011 you must attend Provincial court.

The first step in this process is to set a court date. To do that, you must appear in person between 8:30 and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, except holidays, at Revenue Services, Vancouver City Hall.

Note: If the vehicle is registered to a company, you must produce written permission to dispute the ticket in court.
