Extra Garbage Stickers
If you occasionally need to set out extra garbage, stickers can be purchased to place on additional bags of garbage. A sticker must be placed on each bag of extra garbage. Extra bags of garbage will be collected at the same time your garbage cart is emptied.

A standard garbage bag used for extra garbage setout should:
- be strong
- be securely sealed or tied
- contain no sharp objects
- have a maximum size of 66 cm (26 inches) by 91 cm (36 inches)
- have a maximum weight of 20 kg (44 lbs)
Please note that small grocery bags filled with garbage will not be collected. All small grocery bags must be placed inside larger garbage bags.
Where to Purchase "Extra" Garbage Stickers??
The cost of the garbage stickers is $2 each (per bag). At City locations, stickers are sold in strips of 5. At Safeway, they are sold individually.
