The following plants are recommended as they can tolerate the sunny, dry conditions typically found in street gardens and they meet Green Streets height requirements.

Composting

In keeping with the City of Vancouver’s goals of sustainability, Green Streets encourages gardeners to manage their garden waste locally by composting at home. Learn all about composting in the City of Vancouver.
