Neighbourhood Greenway: Atlantic

The Atlantic Neighbourhood Greenway connects Strathcona Park and the Strathcona Community Gardens along the south side of Atlantic Street to Malkin Ave.

The project was completed in 1998. The design includes a crushed gravel path, stairs, trees, shrubs and pedestrian scale lighting. From what was once the shoreline of False Creek, there are expansive views to the south beyond the rail yards. With future development of the property to the south, the greenway may eventually connect through to the Seaside Greenway and to the Main Street SkyTrain station.
