Easy and convenient transportation is key to Vancouver's status as one of the world's most livable as well as sustainable cities. Between 1999 and 2008, transit trips in Vancouver went up by 20 per cent.

Together with TransLink, the City is committed to providing access to a variety of effective transit choices, connecting Downtown, neighbourhood centres and regional destinations to encourage even greater transit use.
