Water conservation programs

The City of Vancouver has a number of water conservation programs to help Vancouver residents do their part for the environment and prevent water shortages:

  • A to Z of H2O - Environmental responsibility plays for elementary schools
  • Rain Barrel Program - Subsidized rain barrels to catch rainwater for garden use
  • Grow Natural - Natural yard care program that offers techniques to save time, money and the environment
  • Water Saver Kits - Water saving kits to help use water more efficiently inside and outside your home

These initiatives are just a few ways residents can learn about water and take action to use it wisely.
