The City of Vancouver has a number of water conservation programs to help Vancouver residents do their part for the environment and prevent water shortages:

• Grow Natural - Natural yard care program that offers techniques to save time, money and the environment
• Water Saver Kits - Water saving kits to help use water more efficiently inside and outside your home

4. install a low-flow toilet (6 litres per flush)
5. wait for a full load before doing the wash
6. install a water saving showerhead
7. use a timer on your sprinkler
8. let your lawn go brown
9. check and repair hose leaks
