Media tour Olympic Village, October 9, 2009

Media were given a tour of two completed Games-related accommodation suites in Parcel 2 of the Olympic Village (1st Avenue at Columbia Street). It is the first parcel to be completed and handed over to VANOC for occupancy prior to the 2010 Winter Games.

Parcel 2 includes a market housing building and a proposed affordable housing building, with an internal courtyard and playground. There are 213 suites on Parcel 2: 84 proposed affordable housing units and 129 market units.
