What are some of the protective factors that mediate individual risk across one’s lifetime and at key transition points? Evidence suggests that Intervening early in life may be an effective way to reduce the accumulation of risk at many levels.

The Keynote speaker was Charles Pascal, child advocate, special advisor to Ontario’s Premier and the recipient of Excellence in Advocacy Award, 2009.

This was followed by a panel of speakers on addiction and health promotion in other phases of the human life span and culminated in a public dialogue.
