General Description of RequirementThe City of Vancouver is seeking the services of a Consultant to assist the City in the development of a civic policy to guide the selection, acquisition and management of artifacts with the possibility of their inclusion in a civic collection from the 2010 Olympic and Paralympics Winter Games. The purpose of the strategy is to develop criteria for the selection of materials, develop a process to select the materials, acquire, document and store the materials and develop a framework for working with potential community partners to provide for the custody, storage, preservation, programming and exhibition of the materials.
