Billing schedule

IMPORTANT

Utilities Account holders are reminded that bills are due and payable regardless of whether the bill has been mailed or received. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine the current amount and due date via other means as necessary, including using the online property inquiry or calling the 3-1-1 Contact Centre which is available from 7 am – 10 pm, seven days a week.

 

calendar Metered Utilities are billed quarterly (every 3 months) and due approximately 28 days later. Bills are staggered so that 1/3 of the City is billed each month.  Depending on your route number, the chart below indicates when you can expect to receive your bills.

Flat Rate Utilities such as Garbage and Yard Trimmings Carts, Recycling, Fire line and Cross Connection fees are billed once each year either on the property tax notice or as a separate annual utility bill due the 2nd business day in July (same as the tax notice)

Transfer and Landfill Accounts are billed each month and are due approximately 21 days later.

Sewer Permittee billings are quarterly and are due approximately 28 days later.

Neighbourhood Energy Utility Accounts are billed each month and are due approximately 21 days later.
