Carrall Street Public Forum

The Carrall Street Public Forum was held following a one-night street performance event called Carrall Street by Althea Thauberger, and took place on the 200 block of Carrall Street in the fall of 2008. The Carrall Street Public Forum and provided an opportunity for community engagement and critical discussion around the social, political, and artistic questions raised by the performance street event.

Community members and local artists and performers were the direct beneficiaries of the forum through their learnings about the neighbourhood’s history. They had the opportunity to discuss current issues faced by the neighbourhood and community concerns regarding changes and transformation facing the area.
