Downtown Eastside Historic Neighbourhoods Map Guide

Chinatown Millennium Gate

The City of Vancouver partnered with the Vancouver Heritage Foundation to prepare four map guides for DTES's historic neighbourhoods. These map guides will help the public learn about the built heritage in the DTES, while also highlighting special neighbourhood places and features. Map guides will be available for Japantown, Carrall Street Greenway, Chinatown; with a focus on Society Buildings, and Strathcona; with a focus on historical markets. Map guides have been prepared for Japantown, Carrall Street Greenway, and Chinatown with a focus on Society Buildings and hard copies are available from the Vancouver Heritage Foundation, and several locations in the community.
