Getting to zero waste – a new strategy

The City has an ambitious goal to become a zero waste community by 2040 and we can’t get there alone.

With the input of Vancouver residents, businesses and organizations, including other levels of government, we are embarking on a journey to create a zero waste strategy and become a zero waste community.

We need everyone's ideas, insights, support, and participation.

Our process over the coming year: research, engage, develop the plan, report out, and implement
