Our vision is to be the greenest city in the world by 2020. To get there, we've set 10 goals, including reducing our GHG emissions by 33% from 1990 levels. We can't get there alone, so we're working hard to trigger community action.
The Condo Energy Retrofit Pilot Program is an initiative that supports strata-run multi-unit residential buildings that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through energy efficient measures.
This pilot helps high-rise condo buildings save energy (and reduce GHGs) by:
- identifying your top energy saving opportunities and calculating the payback
- coordinating utility incentives and securing financing that matches repayment with energy savings
- coordinating the retrofit work
