MET Fine Printers has been BC's premier commercial printer since 1977. MET was honored as Canada's Printer of the Year 2009 and in 2011 was awarded Gold, Sliver and Bronze for producing Canada's Most Environmentally Innovative Print Projects by the Canadian Printing Awards.

Accomplishments
- First printer in the Pacific Northwest to introduce UV or light cured zero VOC emitting inks for commercial printing in 2001.
- Strongly advocate for recycled and ethically sourced materials.
- Carbon neutral operations since 2009.
- Operating a zero waste program in both their office and manufacturing facilities.
- Established MET Resource, a web-to-print on-line solution for our corporate clients enabling one-source, on-demand procurement that minimizes their inventory levels.
- We pool purchases of materials to coordinate better use of resources and less deliveries.
- Established strategic network of Eco Partners such as Enviro Image Solutions, Climate Smart, Pacific Carbon Trust and more that help our reduction goals.
Reduction strategies
- Moving the transportation of goods to companies who encourage the use of hybrid vehicles.
- Compress operating hours into a five day rotation to reduce power use.
- We have refined the number of our suppliers, targeting those capable who concentrate operational activities within western North America and meet our criteria for environmental and social requirements.
