What makes a company a Corporate Climate Leader?

Corporate Climate Leaders are companies that have developed greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories or conducted energy efficiency studies of their operations and have made a public commitment to the City of Vancouver to take action to reduce their GHG emissions.

Companies that complete the Climate Smart training and whose CEO/executives commit to take action and follow up/report back on their progress will be considered Corporate Climate Leaders.

Companies already involved in the Climate Smart program include: White Spot, Bing Thom Architects, Choices Market, Listel Hotel, Georgia Straight, Ethical Bean, PNE, Cause & Affect Design, Kerrisdale Lumber, Granville Entertainment Group, Farmers Market Society, 1-800 Got Junk, Penner & Associates Interior Design, Go2HR, and Lighthouse Sustainable Business Centre.
