Flat rate utilities on your Property Tax notice

Flat rate utilities are usually applied to single-family homes (with or without suites and laneway houses), duplexes, and strata duplexes.

As of January 2012, all new water connections for single family homes and duplexes will be metered.

Flat rate utilities are billed on the main property tax notice

Please pay by the due date to avoid penalty charges

Flat rate utilities, such as garbage collection, street cleaning fees, Green Bin collection, cross connection fees, annual fireline charges, and (for some customers) water and sewer charges, are found on your main property tax notice.

You pay for these utilities when you make your property tax payment in July.
