The Canada Lands Company (CLC) and the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations are gathering background information for the portion of the Jericho Lands they own.
The owners haven't submitted a redevelopment proposal at this time. However, they indicated that they're prepared to help fund a comprehensive public engagement process to help shape the future of the lands.
Once the landowners let the City know that they are ready to discuss the future of the site, the City will start a planning program that involves community members, the landowners, and other stakeholders.
CLC, along with the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, acquired the eastern portion of the Jericho Lands from the federal government.
The City has yet to determine the planning process for the future of any of the Jericho Lands.
