Labourer (Operations Worker) - Parks
There are various CUPE Local 1004 auxiliary and temporary assignments within Parks. Interested applicants can submit their E-Recruiting profile for review in the Labourer (Operations Worker) general employment grouping for Parks and are also advised to occasionally review the City of Vancouver's current employment opportunities for specific Labourer/Operations Worker postings and apply to those opportunities separately.
Temporary Agency
The Temp Agency hires employees to work on a range of short term office support assignments available in various City departments. Qualifications of employees in the Agency are matched with the requirements for assignments within departments. While there is no guarantee of work through the agency, employees do gain valuable exposure to different departments and assignments. This experience assists employees in determining which posted job opportunities to apply for.
Applicants are advised to occasionally review the City of Vancouver's Short Term On Call (STOC) opportunities and current employment opportunities and apply to those opportunities directly.
