Event details

The City is committed to ensuring homeless residents have a safe, warm place to sleep during the cold winter months.

Over the last nine winters, the City of Vancouver and BC Housing have partnered to open temporary shelters so people experiencing homelessness can come inside and get connected to health and housing services. The temporary shelter at 1401 Hornby Street will open this winter on November 1, 2017.
