The City of Vancouver’s 2015 Budget Outlook is now online at vancouver.ca/budget.

The 2015 Budget Outlook describes the City’s approach to budgeting and the budget’s anticipated direction. It also provides the context and factors that will be considered when creating the budget for 2015.

The draft budget is due to be released early next year and will be reviewed by Council and the public prior to being finalized in March.

What City services and programs matter to you? Are we delivering value?

The budget consultation process is now underway and residents are encouraged to share their thoughts and opinions on the operational and strategic priorities of the City in the coming years.

Feedback from Vancouver residents and businesses on the 2015 Budget is being sought through two different avenues.

An online survey, which includes both budget and service satisfaction questions, was launched on November 27 and will be live until January 7 – to date, over 900 people have completed the survey.

In addition to this, the City’s Pop-Up City Hall outreach team organized a series of eight drop-in public sessions at different community centres over the last two weeks. While there, the team gathered responses from over 400 people for on three key questions from the survey.
