All Souls: Sugar skulls demonstration; Create personal memorials

A family-oriented community event reflecting the tradition of many cultures around the world where the days at the end of October and beginning of November are a time for honouring the dead in our lives through ceremony and celebration and the maintenance of family grave sites. All Souls is hosted by Mountain View Cemetery to honour and remember the dead.

|6:00 pm - 9:00 pm||Celebration Hall is open for the creation of personal memorials. Candles, flowers, and paper are by donation and are provided to create your own personal memorial. Tea will also be served.|
|7:00 pm||Learn the history of the sugar skull tradition and see a demonstration on how to create them for home altars. Bring your sugar skull to the cemetery for the November 1 Day of the Dead celebration. (Unlike previous years, this is a demonstration only.)|
