Beautiful VanDusen Botanical Garden celebrates its 40th anniversary on Sunday, August 16, 10:00am to 5:00pm, and everyone is welcome!

Enjoy a fun-filled day at the scenic 22-hectare garden

For $2.00 admission, take in the following activities:

Home to 7,500 types of plants

Horticultural VanDusen is home to 7,500 different kinds of plants arranged in 50 collections, some featuring plants that are closely related, while others include plants from specific regions or habitats.

Explore ecosystems from New Zealand, tropical South Africa, the Himalayas, and the Mediterranean, across Canada’s boreal forests and great plains, to our own Pacific Northwest.

Experience collections of edible plants, fragrant plants, and plants that simply look good together, like the popular Black Garden.
