City of Vancouver launches extensive public consultation ahead of 2015 budget

December 3 2014

Vancouver City Hall

What are your priorities for Vancouver? Give us feedback on some of the services we provide.

It's part of a month-long effort to help inform our draft 2015 budget.

This round of public consultation represents the next stage in our efforts to engage you on our operational and strategic priorities.

Earlier this year, over 3,000 people helped shape our 2015-2018 Capital Plan by participating in two rounds of public consultation. The plan was approved by Council on October 1, 2014.

Share your views on the budget

We launched our 2015 budget consultation on November 28 and over 500 people have shared their views so far.

Participate in the consultation by:

  • Taking an online questionnaire
  • Phoning 3-1-1 and being randomly chosen to answer three key survey questions
  • Visiting Pop-Up City Hall

Online questionnaire

The online questionnaire covers both budget and service-satisfaction questions. We are accepting responses until January 7, 2015.

Your feedback will help inform the draft 2015 budget that will be presented to City Council in March for a vote.
