VIVA Vancouver takes outside socializing to a new level with the Granville Social weekend event July 18 and 19! Come participate and watch local and international artists, musicians, athletes, artisans, DJs, community groups, and businesses. Celebrate the rich and diverse vibe of Vancouver and our surrounding communities. One weekend only. Free WiFi provided by Shaw.

Street artist community-themed mural

A rare open invitation for you to slow down to observe and admire the intricacies and skill involved in the mural painting, meeting street artists in action – face to face!

Community speaking mural

This wall is your canvas and we want you to show us what community means to you. A word, a story, an image, a drawing, let your imagination shine!

Community portrait mural

Event artists will work collaboratively to create portrait murals, a montage of the faces of all the people passing-by who want to be a visible member of the Granville Social.

Community theme

Our artists will share their vision for community and their uniquely creative process! As you stroll by, take a glimpse at these works of art in progress and meet the artist.

Blim brings together over 45 artisans, clothing, accessories, art, jewellery, glassware, and more! Come by for a fashion show featuring designs by Blim  and Taste Makers  at 4:00pm. Dance performance by Ralph Escamillan  at fashion show halftime. Produced by Studio Keiko . Models provided by Charles Stuart International . Hair and make up by Salon Esprit  and Yuri Ishii .
