Cultural spaces map

Cultural spaces are places where people come together to express themselves through art and culture.

We have almost 400 spaces on our map and know there are many more cultural spaces missing.

Help us identify local arts and cultural spaces in Vancouver.

Add to our map

To add a space, we must be able to find public information such as a website and be able to contact someone associated with the space.

Not every space will appear on the map:

  • If several cultural spaces have the same street address, we combine them into one location
  • Office spaces are not included for privacy reasons

How to add a space

  1. Search for a cultural space on the map above. Select the 'view larger map' icon at the top right of the map for a full view or download our list of spaces Excel spreadsheet (136 KB).
  2. Read the definitions of cultural space types for clarification.
  3. Email culture@vancouver.ca and let us know if there are spaces missing or if information is incorrect. We will not share your email address.

The map will be updated in fall 2017.

While we work to ensure information is correct, we do not guarantee the accuracy of the data presented on this website. Spaces on the map are selected from our Cultural Assets List. Information is primarily from public sources.
