Terms and conditions
To confirm your booking, sign your license agreement and pay the non-refundable deposit.
All users of Vancouver Civic Theatres facilities are required to provide insurance coverage.
A certificate of Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance for a minimum of $2,000,000 coverage per event is required.
The City of Vancouver must be included as the added insured.
Shipping and storage
Storage space in the Salons is not available.
Material and equipment must arrive on the day of the event; advance shipments will not be accepted.
Any Salon decorating must be approved by the theatre staff in advance.
Only pre-approved attachments will be allowed: attaching any decorations to finished surfaces with nails, screws, or tape is not acceptable.
Salon users must include decorating time within the rental period.
Non-refundable deposit is required and can be paid by cash, cheque, or major credit card.
If deposit is paid by cheque, the licence agreement is not valid until the cheque has cleared.
The balance of the rent and any other amounts owing under the licence agreement are due two full business days before the event.
Any additional charges incurred during or after the event are due when invoiced.
In the event of cancellation, the deposit is forfeited and any accumulated charges become immediately due.
For events where there is risk of damage to the premises, a security deposit of $2,000 may be required.
All rates and fees are subject to venue rental taxes.
