Robyn Worcester

As Conservation Programs Manager for the Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES), Robyn is responsible for running wildlife and habitat monitoring, GIS mapping and research programs and oversees the urban wildlife and stewardship programs in Stanley Park. Robyn provides educational outreach within the local community through SPES by leading walks, training opportunities and workshops for academic institutions, community groups and the general public.

Following the December 2006 windstorm in Stanley Park, Robyn participated in the restoration process by working with biologists, scientific advisors and Parks staff in an advisory role and as a representative of SPES, providing insight and information about the wildlife and ecology of the Park. On the ground she worked as an environmental monitor with forestry crews, worked alongside biologists conducting wildlife inventories, and worked with Parks staff to plan and carry out restoration activities.

Robyn is a graduate of BCIT's Resource Management: Fish, Wildlife, and Recreation program, she received a BSc in Biology from SFU, and she is a Biologist in Training (BiT) with the College of Applied Biology.
