Skating Lessons

We have a variety of programs for all ages, running at the community centre, seniors centre, pool and ice rink. Click on the links below to view detailed information about each open activity and to register on-line.

Group & Private Skating Lessons registration is availabe on-line, in person and by phone. All registrants are REQUIRED to have a valid Kerrisdale Community Centre Society Membership.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION: please ensure you create your on-line account and ensure that your registration record shows that you have a valid membership. Membership year is from Sep-Aug and 2011/2012 will be available for purchase starting the first day of August in person or by phone only.

If you are registering for a level other than Level 1, your child MUST have accomplished all the skills of the previous level. If your child is not registered in the correct level, our instructors may withdraw or transfer your child. Skating Lesson level assessments can be completed at any Vancouver Ice Rink during a public skate session. A printable lessons schedule is available on our schedules & brochures page.

Public skating and skating lessons are not offered at Kerrisdale Arena during the Spring & Summer (Apr-Sep). Please inquire at Kitsilano Ice Rink for Spring skating lessons at 604-257-6976.
