 CELEBRATE
In celebration of the February Olympics, Granville Island will be transformed. As part of the Island celebrations, False Creek Community Centre will host Place de la Francophonie 2010. Place de la Francophonie 2010 invites the community to experience a unique festival atmosphere. Visit www.placefranco2010.ca for further details.
Due to the many events that will be held on and near Granville Island in the month of February our regular programming will be disrupted. For up-to-date information visit our Olympic page and Recreation Guide.
Parking restrictions will be in place on the Island throughout February and parking will be very limited. We recommend public transit, walking, or cycling. The new Bombardier Streetcar connects the Canada Line from Olympic Village Station to Granville Island from January 21-March 21. It is a FREE service. Note: Our Fitness Centre WILL BE OPEN to help keep you fit throughout February.
