A current Killarney Community Centre Society (KCCS) Membership is required to participate in Killarney Community Centre Programs. Memberships are not required for swimming and skating programs

Killarney Community Centre Seniors Association

The Killarney Community Centre Senior’s Association (KCCSA) is a registered non-profit association. Its purpose is to develop, promote and provide programs, activities, services and special community events for older adults at Killarney Community Centre in conjunction with the Senior’s Programmer. Anyone who has a Killarney Community Centre Membership card and is 55 yrs+ is a member of the Senior’s Association. Some of our programs permit people under 55 years to join; however they cannot sign up until 2 weeks prior to the start date. The Board of Directors meet the second Tuesday of the month 9:00am. Anyone who is a KCCSA member is welcome to attend as a guest.

The KCCSA produces The Greypower Gazette a seasonal publication highlighting upcoming activities, program reminders, past program highlights, community resource information for seniors. Ask for a Greypower Gazette at the front desk.

   
The Killarney Community Centre Seniors Association acknowledge the financial assistance of the Province of British Columbia in the delivery of its services to the community.

Registration Procedures for Seniors Bus Trips & Special Events

Pre-registration forms and registration numbers are REQUIRED. Registration MUST be done in person. Phone registration will only be accepted if authorized by the Seniors Programmer. All registration is on going until the programs are FULL .

NEW POLICY: Participants must complete and sign a waiver of liability form when registering for all bus trips.

Bus trips and special events are subsidized by the Killarney Seniors Association, and age verification is mandatory. Please have your ID ready when registering. Space on most bus trips and at special events is limited so please register early for yourself and one other person.

Persons under 55 years of age, cannot register for a bus trip until two weeks prior to the actual date of the trip. Prices for people under 55 years are NOT subsidized.

If the program you want is full, please remember to put your name on the WAITING LIST . If s omeone cancels, you will be called and asked to register. On occasion, we do open new programs and bus trips if there is sufficient demand. If unable to attend a bus trip, please request your refund 5 days before the trip so that we can fill your spot .
