Chinese Lantern Making Workshop 55+yrs
Canada is seen today as a multicultural country in which festivals such as Chinese New Year are celebrated each year. The Chinese lantern originated as an improvement over the more simple source of lighting, an open flame. The lantern shade became an object of artistic expression used to decorate the streets, especially during the Lunar New Year celebrations. Registration is required.
