Chinese Lantern Making Workshop
55+yrs
Canada is seen today as a multicultural country in which festivals
such as Chinese New Year are celebrated each year. The Chinese
lantern originated as an improvement over the more simple source
of lighting, an open flame. The lantern shade became an object of
artistic expression used to decorate the streets, especially during the
Lunar New Year celebrations. Registration is required.

Boardwalk Gaming Centre
Do you like to play Bingo? Thunderbird Association is fortunate to have a Bingo license at Bingo Country located at #300–7155 Kingsway. Money generated subsidizes centre programs. To get to the Hall, take the skytrain to Edmonds station and #106 Metrotown Bus to Middlegate Mall. Good luck and have fun!
We would like to acknowledge the generous contribution of the BC Gaming Branch. Without their support many programs would not be offered or subsidize. |
