2010-inspired flowers make debut in Stanley Park February 9

February 8, 2010 (No. 5) - Media are invited to attend an event celebrating the planting of special flowers inspired by the 2010 Winter Games. Over 750 beautiful winter-blooming Vancouver Medallion hellebores will be planted in the new beds at Prospect Point in Stanley Park.

The lovely creamy white perennials were generously donated by the Garden Club of Vancouver. The large display will showcase Vancouver's diverse winter climate to thousands of Games visitors and will be a lasting legacy for millions of visitors to Stanley Park.
