VanDusen Garden is a remarkable asset. And now, with an iconic landmark of sustainable ‘living’ architecture, our stunning new Visitor Centre has stepped in to the 21st Century ready to provide our visitors with a world of discovery for all ages.

An elegant transition from urban surroundings to the beauty of the Garden, the new Visitor Centre gives VanDusen instant visibility along busy Oak Street while fusing architecture and nature. Comprised of regional materials, the building has undulating green roofs and glass walls, making the Visitor Center a visually integral part of the landscape.

The value of VanDusen as an urban botanical garden has grown and grown over its 36-year lifetime. Together the VBGA and the Vancouver Park Board have undertaken this $20 million capital campaign to rejuvenate and revitalize the Garden and its infrastructure.
