Outdoor Weddings
VanDusen Botanical Garden offers some of the most uniquely spectacular settings for your outdoor wedding. Picture yourself at the top of the Great Lawn with stunning azalea beds, flowering trees and peonies as the backdrop. This picturesque lawn area offers views across the treetops to the majestic North Shore Mountains. The Great Lawn can accommodate wedding ceremonies up to 120 guests.
The gently sloping lawns adjacent to Heron Lake have been featured as a romantic location in many Hollywood movies. Now, this idyllic setting, with the lake and its willow trees, is available for smaller wedding ceremonies of up to 100 guests.
Meadow Pond, secluded at the south west corner of the Garden, is available for wedding ceremonies of up to 30 guests.
Whether you choose vibrant floral, serene water, or a secluded garden, all backdrops will provide a memorable setting for your special day.

Tents, chairs and decorations are the responsibility of the renter.

Includes garden liaison, access to power & water. Tents, chairs, trailer washrooms, decorations, and catering are the responsibility of the renter.
Heron Lake Outdoor Ceremony

Wedding Photographs
The Garden is a wonderful setting for wedding photographs. Group rates for wedding photographs are as follows:

Groups of up to 4 persons
$70.00 (January-June) and $75.00 (July-December)

Groups from 5 to 8 persons
$136.00 (January-June) and $145 (July-December)
Groups from 9 to 15 persons
$189.00 (January-June) and $202.00 (July-December)
Your wedding photographer enters free of charge.

For groups over 15 persons
each additional person will be required to pay regular Garden admission.
