Casual Play
The Vancouver Park Board provides 183 tennis courts in 43 parks throughout
the City. With the exception of 6 courts in Stanley Park, casual tennis
play operates on a first-come, first-served basis under the following
rules:
- 2 to 4 players shall wait facing a court to claim it;
- 30 minutes maximum play if players are waiting;
- rubber soled shoes must be worn;
- players must avoid interference with play on adjoining courts;
- tennis club may exceed 30 minutes playing time on permitted courts
during club and league play.
Pay Tennis
A pay tennis concession operates on 6 courts in Stanley Park from late April to Labour Day. Courts can be reserved up to one week in advance
by phoning 604-605-8224.
Tennis Fees
Lessons and Clubs
Tennis lessons are offered by local community centres as well as at
the pay tennis concession
in Stanley Park. Please contact the community
centre directly regarding lesson dates, times, cost, etc. In addition,
the following community centres offer tennis club programs:
