Vancouver Sport Hosting Grant
The City of Vancouver will consider opportunities to support sporting events that have the potential to bring significant direct and/or indirect economic, social, health and community development benefits to Vancouver, advance civic priorities and/or ensure needed legacies.
Funding of $200,000 is available for 2010 to support hosting of sport events.

KidSport Vancouver
KidSport™ provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport. More info» 
Canadian Tire Jumpstart
Strong communities include strong kids. Canadian Tire Jumpstart and the City of Vancouver believe all kids should have the chance to run, skate, play, and grow. Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a community-based charitable program that helps kids in financial need participate in organized sport and recreation such as baseball, dance, soccer and swimming.
