2009-2010 Public Consultation Process

Information Sessions in November 2010 (Completed)

The City of Vancouver held two Information Sessions in mid-November 2010 to present the finalized Hastings Park/PNE Master Plan that was considered by City Council on December 2, 7 and 9, 2010. The Information Sessions allowed the public to review the questionnaire responses from open houses completed in September 2010, plus the recommended final concept plan for Hastings Park and initial implementation steps.

Open Houses in 2010 (Completed)

Between June and September 2010, the City of Vancouver held 13 open house in 7 different locations across the City to gather comments on the final details of the Hastings Park/PNE Master Plan. During these open houses, over 360 completed questionnaires were received.

Open Houses in 2009 (Completed)

City of Vancouver - Hastings Park PNE Master Planning Consultations

The first round of public consultation, held from August to October 2009, gathered input on the overarching principles of the Hastings Park/PNE Master Plan. Nearly 300 questionnaires were received, thank you to all who participated. Feedback received was summarized and integrated into a report PDF (15.34mb) that was presented to City Council in December 2009. Key Stakeholder Group

To ensure stakeholder input into the planning process, a Key Stakeholder Group (KSG) was established to provide advice and input throughout the master planning process. The KSG  was comprised of community (neighbourhood), on-site (Hastings Park), and city-wide representatives.
