Passport - Lost or Stolen

To report a passport lost or stolen, you must go in person to either Vancouver Police Public Service Counter:

3585 Graveley St. - open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2120 Cambie St - open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Local Residents

The following must be provided:

  • passport number (f you do not know your number, please obtain it from your Consulate or Embassy before attending VPD Service Counter)
  • current picture identification or several other pieces (one item with your signature)

Tourists

  • please bring whatever ID you have available; if no ID is available, please bring in your hotel receipt, airline tickets or vehicle rental receipt

Canadian Citizenship Card – Lost or Stolen

If your Canadian Citizenship Card is lost or stolen, you must go in person to either Vancouver Public Service Counter:

2120 Cambie St - open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You will need to provide the following:

  • original Canadian Citizenship document with number (if not available, obtain from Immigration)
  • current photo ID
