Traffic Support TEAM

The Traffic Support Team is made up of a traffic analyst and a traffic statistician. Their duties include the following:

liaise with the Administration Traffic Justices, Traffic Crown Counsel, and Bylaw Prosecutor
work with the Motor Vehicle Branch Investigation Operation Division
conduct personation investigations
quality control for all traffic-related tickets and forms
radar / laser training and equipment maintenance
BAC Datamaster C training and maintenance (Breathalyser)
approved screening device training and maintenance
bylaw and violation ticket review
driving complaints
oversee administrative driving prohibition and vehicle impoundment programs
prepare and maintain traffic related statistics
liaise with ITCU regarding photo radar and red light camera sites
assist the public in answering traffic-related questions
prepare traffic-related bulletin and briefing board notices for the Department
assist City Engineering with traffic issues
update and instruct in new traffic amendments to the Department
