Come see ocean life and kids' imagination come alive at the Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza - World's First Lantern Aquarium on display from February 3 - 13. Make your own lanterns and join the LunarFest

Illuminate Yaletown (5:59 – 10: 30 pm)
Check out the second annual Illuminate Yaletown - a free, multi-night, entertainment filled street party, featuring spectacular light installations from local artists. Located at Mainland and Hamilton, between Drake and Nelson.
Light up C.P.R. Train Engine 374 (6 – 10 pm)
Help transform Engine 374 into a constellation of thousands of tiny lights! Build your own state-of-the-art 'light throwie' from a battery, an LED and a magnet. Admission is $2.

(Robson Street will be closed between Howe and Seymour)
Free skating, music and entertainment all day. Activities will include interactive community arts, special guest appearances, including the Canuck’s Mascot Fin, and opportunities to meet Canadian 2010 Olympians.

Vancouver Art Gallery (10 am – 5 pm)
Free admission for the opening day of renowned Vancouver-based artist Ken Lum’s new exhibition.
Vancouver 2010 legacy event at Creekside Community Recreation Centre (11 am – 3 pm)
Free family event with Olympic and Paralympic themed activities including a hockey sledge race, winter sports on Wii, pin trading, 2010 memorabilia on display and a big screen TV showing Games highlights.
Let's Celebrate One Year since the Vancouver 2010 Games! (11 am)
Inukshuk sculpture unveiling and reception including crafts for the kids (make your own inukshuk/button-making), cake-cutting and fun for the whole family. Dress in your "Canada" clothes and bring your red mitts!
Relive Centre Ice On Granville (12 noon – 9 pm)
(Granville Street will be closed between Smithe and Dunsmuir)
The Granville pedestrian corridor is back with street hockey, buskers and the LunarFest Procession. 2010 Winter Games highlights will be broadcast by CTV.
2010…All Over Again! Golden Memories (1:30 - 4:30 pm)
Be sure to wear your red and white to skate for half price. Other activities include dry floor curling, winter games on the Wii, Olympic highlights and getting your picture taken with one of the Olympic torches.
Lighting of the Olympic Cauldron (4 pm)
Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games torchbearers, VANOC volunteers and staff are encouraged to gather with the public for the first anniversary of the official lighting of the Olympic Cauldron at Jack Poole Plaza.

Canadian Flag Installation at Lost Lagoon (Lit starting at 5 pm)
In the spirit of the one year anniversary of the 2010 Winter Games, the 12-by-6-foot Canadian flag at Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park has been reinstalled. The 52-foot flag pole will be lit for the anniversary weekend. Best viewing of the flag is in front of the Nature House (at the foot of Chilco Street).

Paralympic Games One Year Anniversary Public Skate at Sunset Rink (2 - 3:30 pm)
A fun skate to celebrate the memory of last year's Winter Olympics and Paralympics Games. Join us for mascot colouring station/tattoos and draw prizes. The public skate will be followed by the Sunset Figure Skating Club’s Spring Gala Ice Show from 6 – 8 pm.
