Inukshuk sculpture unveiling and reception including crafts for the kids (make your own inukshuk/button-making), cake-cutting and fun for the whole family. Dress in your "Canada" clothes and bring your red mitts!

Be sure to wear your red and white to skate for half price. Other activities include dry floor curling, winter games on the Wii, Olympic highlights and getting your picture taken with one of the Olympic torches.

Lighting of the Olympic Cauldron (4 pm)
Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games torchbearers, VANOC volunteers and staff are encouraged to gather with the public for the first anniversary of the official lighting of the Olympic Cauldron at Jack Poole Plaza.

Canadian Flag Installation at Lost Lagoon (Lit starting at 5 pm)
In the spirit of the one year anniversary of the 2010 Winter Games, the 12-by-6-foot Canadian flag at Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park has been reinstalled. The 52-foot flag pole will be lit for the anniversary weekend. Best viewing of the flag is in front of the Nature House (at the foot of Chilco Street).

Paralympic Games One Year Anniversary Public Skate at Sunset Rink (2 - 3:30 pm)
A fun skate to celebrate the memory of last year's Winter Olympics and Paralympics Games. Join us for mascot colouring station/tattoos and draw prizes. The public skate will be followed by the Sunset Figure Skating Club’s Spring Gala Ice Show from 6 – 8 pm.
