Throughout the Garden there are more than 100 flowering cherry trees representing 24 different species and varieties. Many of these are featured in the Honourable David C. Lam Cherry Grove (Area 4), named in honour of British Columbia’s former Lieutenant Governor – a gardener with a life-long passion for the cherry tree. To find a cherry tree from the list below, look for the corresponding number on the map. Bloom times are weather-dependent and vary considerably from year to year.
