Data Currency

The data that is displayed in VanMap is derived from a large variety of City sources. Each source is updated based on business and other requirements. In many cases, those databases are routinely updated on a daily basis; VanMap is then updated the next business day. In other cases, the data changes very infrequently; when this happens, VanMap is updated quickly, but it may not be the next business day. In still other cases, the data never changes (for example the 2002 orthophotos are as they were taken and will never change).
