MapTip

When your mouse pointer hovers over a map object, you will often see information about that map object displayed in a small yellow pop-up window called a MapTip. The MapTip disappears when you move the mouse again. If you are expecting to see a MapTip and it does not appear, try changing the scale (right-click on the map, select Zoom > Zoom to Scale from right-click menu). If the scale is too large it may be difficult to position the cursor so that the Map Tip displays.

To see MapTips, the Select button must be activated. MapTips will not work while any of the other toolbox buttons are selected.

Note: The MapTip may contain information that is not visible on the map.

Example: When you position the mouse pointer over the centroid of a property, the MapTip displays the address.
