Print a Map

To print a map in VanMap, click on the printer icon button in the Toolbox. A Print Map dialogue box will appear. In the dialogue box you can

• Enter a title for the map
• Choose different sizes of paper on which to print (depending on the sizes your printer allows)
• Choose between Landscape and Portrait. Landscape is the default value because it prints a larger map
• Check the box next to Scale if you want the Scale to be printed
• Check the box next to Date if you want the current date to be printed
• Choose whether you want to print to PDF or just print an image. If you choose PDF, it prints a PDF file which can be saved. If you choose Image, it prints an image in a web page which can then be printed.
