Right-click menu - quick feference

The right-click menu is a pop-up menu that is accessed by right-clicking in the map. The following table describes the functions that are available.

Note: The menu items are available according to what is allowed with the selected object.

Command Description
Preferences Display the Preferences dialogue box, where you can specify the map units, selection mode, and status bar settings.
GotoSelected Zoom to display all selected objects.
UnSelect Clear the currently selected map objects.
Print »  Page Setup Display the Page Setup dialogue box, where you can specify settings for printing the map.
Print »  Print Print the map.
Copy »  Copy Map Copy the current map view to the clipboard (not available in the Java edition).
Copy »  as URL Copy the current map location to the clipboard as a URL.
Zoom »  Zoom to Selected Zoom to display selected object(s).
Zoom »  Zoom to Width Display the Zoom Width dialogue box, where you specify the width,in current units, of the area that you want to display in the map window.
Zoom »  Zoom to Scale Display the Zoom Scale dialogue box, where you specify the scale at which you want to view the map.
Zoom »  Zoom to Previous Zoom to the area that was last displayed.
Zoom »  Zoom Goto Display the ZoomGoto dialogue box, where you specify the location you want to zoom to.
Zoom »  Zoom In Zoom in by a magnification factor of two on the point that you click, or zoom in to the rectangular area you draw with the mouse.
Zoom »  Zoom Out Zoom out by a magnification factor of two from the point you click to display a larger area of the map.
Zoom »  Unzoom Display the entire map in the current window.
Bookmarks »  City Hall This pre-set bookmark will take you to City Hall at a scale of 1:3591.
Bookmarks »  Add Bookmark Display the Add Bookmark dialogue box, where you can specify a bookmark name for the current map view and save it as a bookmark.
Bookmarks »  Delete Bookmarks Display the Delete Bookmarks dialogue box, where you can choose a bookmark to delete.
Bookmarks » (bookmark name) Adjust the map view to display the area that was saved under this bookmark name.
Select »  Map Objects Display the Select Map Objects dialogue box, where you select from a list of the map objects that are within the current map view.
Select »  Radius Select the map objects that fall within a circle with the radius you specify from a specific point.
Select »  Polygon Select the map objects that fall within a polygon you draw.
Select »  Within Select the map objects that fall within the specified map objects.
Select »  Clear Selection Clear the currently selected map objects.
View »  Report Generate a report for the selected map objects.
View »  Buffer Create buffers around the selected map objects to view the objects that fall within an area that is a certain distance from the selected objects.
Pan Slide the map around to areas that are outside of the current view.
Reload Reload the current map at the current zoom scale. Reloading the map clears all buffers and can also be used if the map does not appear to be displaying properly, as in the case of a server error.
