Zoning Districts application

The Applications area is always set to Select Application. Select Zoning Districts from the Applications box. The Zoning Districts window appears. This query is most useful at a start up or overview scale.

1. Use the Shift key to select multiple items in sequence and the Ctrl key to select non-sequential multiple items from the Select zoning district window.
2. Click the Show button. Until you click the Show button, the selections you made will not be activated. Even if you turn the layer on and off in the legend, you still need to click Show before your selections will display.
3. Once the map has displayed the zoning district, you can use zoom in from the Toolbox or right-click menu in order to have a closer look at the selected district distribution. Double-clicking on a zoning district displays Community Services' Zoning and Development By-law (No. 3575).
4. The Zoning District layer is always visible; the Zoning District labels are available at a scale of 1:20,000.
