Business Licence / Chauffeur's Permit Hearings

Business Licence / Chauffeur's Permit Hearings are quasi-judicial meetings that decide whether or not to revoke or suspend a business licence or chauffeur's permit. For example, if on the premises of a business there has been illegal activity taking place, or activities that contravene other City bylaws, that business licence or chauffeur's permit may be revoked or suspended.

Meeting frequency

Hearings are held on an unscheduled basis. They are conducted through the Legal Services Department.

Members of the public may attend these hearings.

Speaking at a Business Licence / Chauffeur's Permit Hearing
