Community food assets data

July 8, 2013 - Released two community food assets datasets. The City tracks the number of community gardens, food trees, farmers markets, and community food markets, among others, to gauge the state of local food systems. While these assets are located within city boundaries, and some are on City and Park Board lands, the vast majority are not administered by the City of Vancouver, and have come to fruition through the dedicated work of many residents and community organizations.

This dataset is maintained manually and data comes from the City of Vancouver or from the specified managing organizations. Data is available in XLS and CSV formats and is refreshed every six months.
